"Ginga e Kickoff!!" is TV series developed by TYO Animations, broadcasted by NHK in Japan.
It is retitled as "Victory Kickoff!!" in EMEA countries, and "Galaxy Kickoff!!" in other countries.
Kawabata is the original author of the production. His novel “Galaxy World Cup”(Shueisha) is adapted into the animation.


Story
12-year-old boy, Sho Ota, dreams of becoming a football world champion. Far from being the best player on the field, he is certain to succeed with a good coach and team. Thanks to his passion and his great determination, Sho manages to convince a former football star to become his coach. Together, they recruit players from across the region in order to create a team and make it to the World Cup!
